Our Review

One & Only Royal Mirage is made up of three hotels, the Residence & Spa, Arabian Court and the Palace situated side by side nestled in 60 acres of landscaped gardens and along a kilometre of private beach. The pretty gardens provide a wonderful oasis of palm trees, exotic flowers and water fountains. Each hotel offers the same level of exceptional service and genuine care. The staff greet you with welcoming smiles wherever you go. The style throughout is very much Arabian influenced creating an understated elegance and a beautiful hotel. Couples tend to stay at the Residence, being the smallest of the three hotels, leaving the other two for families. Which is great because you avoid the dark looks from guests who don’t have children as they do have an alternative. Each lovely room is sea facing, with private balcony or garden. Whichever hotel you stay at you have the choice of all the hotels bars and restaurants so you never need eat at the same place twice. This is a great hotel for anyone wanting to spend more than just a few days in Dubai. With so much space and a beautiful beach you really feel you are on a tropical island and not in the middle of a city! As Dubai rapidly expands the Royal Mirage provides a haven to escape too after a heavy day shopping in Dubai's incredible Malls. It is also just down the road from the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai's best shopping centre and more importantly - the Wild Wadi Water Park!!

    Things to do

THINGS TO DO FOR PARENTS… The huge private hotel beach is a start and then there are plenty of land and water sports, nearby golf, riding, desert safaris and a host of sightseeing tours, Sailing, Kayaks, Hobiecats, windsurfing, waterskiing and fishing, Floodlit tennis courts, putting green, petanque, volley ball and basket ball. A wonderful Givenchy Spa plus an Oriental ‘Hamman’ with steam baths, sauna and massage. Shopping, shopping and shopping. And skiing in the Mall of the Emirates if you feel the urge

  • I’M BORED (…& for children)… The two Kids clubs and their activities are a great option to keep the children happy, alternatively the hotel has plenty of water sports on offer. Our favorite is the Wild Wadi Water Park which is hours of amusement (particularly for fathers who have a rather childish streak) Or take the family skiing for the day in the Mall of the Emirates.
  • CHILDREN’S CLUB… A superb KidsOnly programme is specially designed for younger members of the family with fully-supervised, age-appropriate activities for children ages four to eleven years old. Two dedicated children’s centres– one in The Palace, the other at Arabian Court – are open every day of the week. Here, children can engage in programmes of fun and adventure, leaving parents to have a moment of relaxed book reading by the pool! KidsOnly is a complimentary club for children ages four to 11. A full programme of entertainment and activities is offered daily from 10am to12.30pm, from 2.30pm to 5pm and again from 6pm to 10pm, with children typically joining their parents for meals. Tailored to various ages, activities might include: camel riding, henna painting, belly dancing, sand sculpturing, evening Arabian camping and more. Little ones learn basic Arabic phrases during fun, interactive lessons. Children under four are welcome to participate in activities for the younger set, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Such services can be arranged through the resort for a fee. Please book early during festive and special holiday seasons..
